The kiddie crew are Aidan and Ronan. Aidan is 14, Ronan 13. They help out with the race cars and recently I purchased them a junior stock dragster off Joe Bond and named it Micro Menace 1. Over the season they did well and getting good times and speed. Best ET and MPH was by Ronan at Shakespeare County Raceway with a 14.2@44 mph which is good considering the speeds the other stocks are producing. So they got friendly with the other racers and became popular with them. Their best friend out of the lot is Tom Watts who had good side by side races with Aidan and had a good time. After the season had ended they finished overall 9th out of 16 but at one point they actually where leading the championship! Plus with missing quite a few rounds, I think they did pretty well!

Over Christmas we sold the stock car as well as a lot of memories and purchased Adam Gleadows' junior modified car. We got the car painted by airbrush expert Lee Stone who we all have to thank for that awesome paint job the car has. Thanx Lee!! We got the new ultra light wheels from the states.

2004 season report
Hey race fans
Our last update was old so I knew I needed to keep you all up to speed. Me (Ronan) and my brother Aidan had a good season in 2003 after racing at Santa Pod. The car once again had its downs.

We started off going to the Pod again with the car not even running after spending all Christmas emptying our pockets to fix it. Round 1 was done the car wouldn't run at all so it was off to Finland for Aidan.

Alastaro, Finland
Aidan got to go to Finland after my dad let us take the car on the European tour with him. You can guess it the car didnt run, it just spluttered, over revved and died, so it was done for round 2 and the car was off to Sweden.

Mantorp Park, Sweden
Ronan's drive now. This was my first time away in Europe and it was awsome. We had the car running and it sounded good like always. We missed the first Qualifier because of the slow scrutineering so we had one shot qualifier to beat a .720 I think. The car launched hard off the line and after dying I lifted my foot a bit and the car shot off!. I was really enjoying myself to be going fast again but the car ran an OK 9.78 @ 70mph, but didnt make it into the ladder. To still have fun I stuck the on the neon lights from Fuel Records and took the car out for some photo's. Boy! Did we get some looks, so many people took pics of it and me, I was loving it!. After all that the car headed out for Norway.

Gardermoen, Norway
Aidan's time to run the car and lucky for him it was his birthday. Aidan some how got it good! The car ran like a car again, he did every qualifier and ran constant 9.8's. Aidan got into the ladder with 32 others and first round but who...The European Junior Champ and well Aidan won that one and moved up a round. Aidan made it past 5 rounds because of such a big field and lost in the next round because of the oponents good reaction. Aidan came 5th out or 32 cars and setting some new P.B.s it was off to Hockenhiem.

Hockenhiem, Germany
Ronan's time to drive the car now and ther car ran as good as Norway. Well... a bit better. The car ran a decent 9.67 at Germany being one of the fastest cars there. It ran 9.6's and .8's constantly and after a big fat REDLIGHT in round 1 we still had to have fun with the neons. Being at such a big professional track made everything worth while even losing in round 1, but that was over and back to the Pod for the finals.

European Finals, Santa Pod
Aidan's time to finish it all off and Aidan ran some more P.B.s running a decent 9.54 but yet Aidan still can't get into the 70mph zone after a 69.98! There was really bad head winds the next day after Aidan dialed in a 9.80 he realised to change the card to a 10.0 but my dad just pulled the card off and ran while Aidan was trying to tell him to turn it around. Aidan then ran a 10.0 losing in round 2.

We have now moved to Canada bringing the Junior and Aidan's "Bad Boy", the ex "Southern Rebel" altered to race at Grand Bend And St.Thomas speedway.

Aidan's car has been taken apart with the help of just me him and some new friends who are going to help us through out the races, then the chassis has been painted black and started being assembeld and will get some pics of it. The body is waiting to be painted after a long, long time waiting around after being sanded.

We will keep you updated from over the pond.
