The ever grinning SUICIDE SMAX has entered TOP FUEL at the MAIN EVENT. You can't keep an old hippie down and as usual Smax has suprised us all by returning from Canada to drive the Main Event courtesy of the organisers of the BULLDOG BASH - a huge bike lifestyle event with drag racing at its core!

As usual, Smax left everything to the last minute, but commented "I have been so touched with all the true race fans mailing me asking if there was a chance for me to come back racing in 2005 that I buckled and asked Paul and my management team to make a few calls to see if we could raise some sponsorship to start racing. They came up with the goods at the 11 th hour, so lets go racing!!!

"However we are as usual on very limited funding so need to raise more money to be competitive and do all qualifiers and more races. Intersted parties could email me at smax@smax.co.uk and have their logo on a Top Fuel car at a televised event"

Smax has teamed up with his good friends and car owners Stuart and Richard McDonald, who were on Smax's team last year, almost breaking the European record! The ex Peter Lantz machine has been totally rebuilt by the McDonalds taking every spare hour in the closed season to get the machine ready to rock 'n' roll. They are happy to have a UK based team finally at the startline to play! Smax hopes to race this car at the Bulldog Bash in mid August at Shakespeare County Raceway and the Main Event will be a great place to see the newly finished car before the Bulldog

Smax, Stu, Rich and crew will be around all weekend in the pits should fans wish to come over and see the car. Remember last years Main Event? The Smax crew thrashed all weekend and ran the car's first four second pass straight out of the box and made history with the fastest side by side top fuel race in Europe!!!

We are ready to suprise again!!!!
